Residenza Il Poggiolo

Description

The Residenza Il Poggiolo is situated on a small hill (396 m) in the north of Tuscany, with a broad view of the green hills of the Mugello up to the Sieve valley and the Bilancino lake.
The healthy climate of Mugello has always attracted noble Florentine families, such as the Medici, to build their summer residences.
In the 1990s in the Sieve valley an artificial basin was built, the Bilancino Lake, which today invites you to swim and surf.

The buildings that make up the Residenza Il Poggiolo date back several hundred years ago and have been restored according to the Tuscan artisan tradition, and have an area of about 550 sqm. The central area of the hill (from which the name Il Poggiolo) is today constituted by the
Residential house with four apartments and the farmhouse next door. This contains the fifth apartment, the closet and the office. A building, an electrical control center and two garages are attached. The first floor of the farmhouse has not yet been completed.
The apartments have a surface area ranging from 48 to 120 sqm, and all have separate entrances; in the garden there are also several seating areas to enjoy the scenery and culinary delights undisturbed. In addition, a swimming pool has been created in the large garden park with cypresses, ancient oaks, chestnuts and olive trees, far from the buildings.
The property is surrounded by approximately 6.5 hectares of lawn and woodland.

7 km east, near Scarperia, there is the 18-hole golf course of Poggio dei Medici. Nearby are the Mugello International Circuit, and a large Outlet Village with over 150 shops
