The Podere “Molino della Tuoma”, dating back to the sec. XVI-XVIII, it is located in the heart of the Val d’Orcia natural, artistic and cultural park, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005, in a central position between San Quirico d’Orcia, Pienza and Montalcino which can be enjoyed the panorama to the west and only 4 km. from the ancient Baths of Bagno Vignoni. It is accessed from a side street of ancient Cassia (SP 137) included in the network of historical routes connected to the Via Francigena.
Recently the mill, built in stone and bricks, has been completely consolidated and carefully restored in its entirety with the use of original materials while preserving the valuable architectural details. On the north-eastern front, the works highlighted the ancient walls and the inlets of the water from the cistern.
Immersed in an area of ​​ancient and extraordinary beauty, the mill is an oasis of contemplation of the most beautiful landscape in the world.
The building affects a property of about 7500 square meters partly in the garden and partly in the arable land where there are the parking lot, the fountain to be used as a bio-pool, the oven, the outbuildings and the belvedere.
